HELP NEEDED...!!!!!!!!!

guys so can you all help me writing on yourself like a self potrait for about 400-450 words i started a bit but i don't want it to go too you knoe self obssesed so please HHHHHELP ME..!! :) thanx..:)...

We were talking about this the other day :P

I suggest this (I'm pretty good at descriptive writing) : first set a simple scene (like your dressing up for a party).

Next describe yourself whilst you're sitting at your dressing table. Start from the top and move downwards.

Even the smallest detail matters - like the way 'your wispy hair was draped across your gown'

Then end it.

That should be more than enough for 500 words.

Think of the 5 senses : hearing, sight, taste, smell and touch.

Incorporate them into the story.

actualy i already know that much i just wanna know a starting paragraph..like "i can never forget the day when......."

When in such a situation its best to talk in the PRESENT tense.

Pretend you really are walking aorund your house as your friends lead you forward blindfolded.

Imagine hitting a chair and the pain you feel, the raucous laughter of your friends, the smell of some Dhai Wadhas from the Kitchen :P

lol..that's nice thanx anyway i have to submit the assignment tomorrow it self actually what happened was i knew the body but wanted a attention grabbing paragraph to start with so thanx a lot ari..:) <3

Not a problem.

The best way to get better at English is to read books by major authors and to read a British Newspaper like the Times or The Daily Mail.

Also make sure to watch the BBC whenever you have the time - they are precise and to-the-point in their English. CNN is a bit of a joke. :P

alright i actually read novels but in these few days i have shortage of time i get loads of homework from the school and all but now i'll start again i have read many books like oliver twist, angels & demons and all...and right now i am reading the da vinci code..:)
