ALWAYS remember .. for addition and multiplication .. LB = LB + LBLB = LB x LBUB = UB + UBUB = UB x UBfor subtraction or division .. (is different)LB = LB - UBLB = LB/UBUB = UB - LBUB = UB/LB consider solving some sums u'll get them .. these kinda ques usually appear in paper 2 .. (jus solved a couple of them few mins ago)
I dont really get it. If you would solve me some questions from the past papers with the formula's you provided, it would be really helpful.
The base didn't change its shape. Thus, the x-axis is invariant.
is it,(x-3)/4 = 4/(x-3)then,=> (x-3)(x-3) = 4*4=> x2 -6x +9 = 16=> x2 -6x -7 = 0=> (x+1)(x-7) = 0=> x = -1 , x = 7

umm..ok, try this(x-3)/4 = 4/(x-3)=> (x-3)/4 - 4/(x-3)=> x2 -6x -7 / 4x -12
