presence of water turns the chloride paper pink, which means the absence of water should not turn it pink, therefore the one tht took the most time lost water most rapidly...

no that is wrong presence of water turns the paper pink and as the leaf looses water by transpiration the faster the water lost the lesser the time taken because the water would escape through the styoma in the form of vapours which will be absorbed by the paper so it will turn pink therefore the lowest bar is the answer.its their in the mckean txtbk
