no that is wrong presence of water turns the paper pink and as the leaf looses water by transpiration the faster the water lost the lesser the time taken because the water would escape through the styoma in the form of vapours which will be absorbed by the paper so it will turn pink therefore the lowest bar is the answer.its their in the mckean txtbk

The food also contains water even if it is in a little amount right?
So why do you drink water?
So i think its water they lack in their diet.

Besides the aphids wouldnt want to become obese.

The aphids lack FAT!!!! Its common sense. When you break a plant in half, watery stuff comes out meaning that the plant transports WATER!!
The surface of the leaf that loses water the fastest is the one with the LOWEST BAR!! The lowest bar means it took the least time to turn the paper pink, which means it gave out water the fastest.
The heart one is the 2 atrioles, or W and X, or answer A.
The monocot leaf is D, the long thin one.
The energy flow diagram is D, the one that goes from the decomposer to the plant.
The last question.... I have no idea. I put B :P. BUT ONLY ONE WRONG SO FAR WOOHOO!!

so u guys still didnt answer 1 question...was it fats or water??
and the ccobalt chloride one was plant X lower surface rite!?  and the heat one...was it sweating and vasoconstriction?!

The answer was plant X lower surface I think. Whichever had the lowest bar.
