The direction of the resultant was obvious north east but for example "state the Critical Angle" I wrote "more than 35 [degrees]"

i think they wanted the angle of the resultant with reference to the road, as the downward force of 1 car is south...so u hav to write 30 degrees, or whatever u guyz got it may b a lil diff..

and thers no way it could be aluminum! cuz it expands more than concrete so it will cause the concrete to crack!

i chooose aluminium as the metal, and for the diode, the answere is A, the last question, the electric fiel i wrote it should act downwards to cancel it out. for the direction of the force i wrote diagonal to the road!! i didn't know how else to express it. did any1 get the Piston question 1? Cause on my paper there was nothing like Gm or Micrometer???

That's why it's placed at the bottom of concrete? because its expansion is more... as I know the metal placed below should be the one that has higher expansion.

hey guys for the water and damp cloth question, is it because water have higher thermal capacity than air so when its hot weather it will not heat up much keeping the milk cool?

i choosed steel....cause it has the least  expansion and as u know in concrete pillars large heat energy is emitted so temperature increase a lot nd therefore we have to get the least expansion so the the concrete pillars wont exxxxxxxplode or crack open... dats wat i think

nd because water is already poor conductor of heat...so no heat flows in or out..
