Last number, you must be meaning the volume of shaded region when it is rotated 360o.

Well, it was simple.
1. You needed to find volume under the line.
2.Find volume under the curve.

Both should be in terms of pie. Then you subtract volume under curve from the volume under line to obtain the required solution ;)

how was the paper?

It was hard for the most of the people in my school, i manage to do them after second round, but i missed out the "show" the real roots part in the last question before finding a and b, Do you remember your answer for the area in the last question..? and the circular measure part?

Yeah......the answer was 11/12 pie ;)

Am afraid to tell you that but the answer would be 2.88 without pie.
Though your method (pie x integration of [y12 - y22]) was correct.
Initially I did it the same way you did but got a negative value as answer. So I decided to do it step by step and I finally obtained the correct answer.(according to me and my friends)
