LOL....they didn't know about the english version? Seriously, i mean?  :o

And yup its teh same case here.....they wanted to learn english.....we want to know Arabic  :D ::)

Suggestions? Well how about giving us a lesson on descriptions....like to describe in arabic when somebody is happy or angry or sad.....or nervous or annoyed.....something like that  ;D

Here are some phrases\words used in daily life:
Sabah al khair - Good Morning.
Masaa Al khair - Good Evening
When someone says sabah\masaa al khair you can reply by sabah\masaa al noor.
Tesbah(i-for females) ala khair - Good Night
Usually the reply is "owenta(i-for females) men ahl ah khair).


Moods:
Happy:mabsoot.
Sad: za(3)lan.
Angry: m(3)aaseb\ghadban.
Bored: zahgan
Excited: motahames.
Hungry: ja3an.
Thirsty: (3)atshan.
Lonely: waheed.
Sleepy: naa(3)san.


Descriptions:
Tall\Long : taweel.
Short: gaseer
Skinny : nheef
Fat : naseh
Dark skinned: asmar.
White : abyad.
Eyes : oyoun.
Nose : Anf

From the broken arabic I know:

Days of the week:

Yaum is day

Sat: Yaum-us-sabat
Sun: Yaum-ul-ahad
Mon: Yaum-ul-Ithnain
Tues: Yaum-ul-Thulatha (th=s)
Wed: Yaum-ul-arba
Thurs: Yaum-ul-Khamees
Fri: Yaum-ul-Juma

By the way. I have a confusion...
When you ask someone How are you : shalonik itna..right? and shalonich for female  ::) ?

Shlonik for a girl ...shlonak for a guy ;)

We don't say youm saturday we just say saturday ;)


Sat: Assabat
