hmm .. wrapping a string around a circular object like a test tube for multiple times, measure the length and divide by the number of wraps right ?? is this wat u r talking abt ..??

Hey...
I think its some confusion here :P

3 ways of making magnets

By induction ( complicated process will be studied later ). Pieces of iron( permanent) or steel ( temporary )

And thn later... :

IRON AND STEEL
Iron is a soft magnetic material ( easy to charge and easy to lose charge )--> temporary magnets
Steel is hard magnetic mat. ( hard to chagge and heard to lose ) --->permanent

Am i gettin sumthin wrong...or its supposed to be that way ? ???

And thx alot for ur notes...M gonna read them out soon :)

iron is always temporary sorry...i keep  makin silly mistakesss..sorry !! ill fix that now! thanks

Ok you know whats the middle finger tells you current. ( CONVENTIONAL CURRENT ) and we all know that electrons ( beta )  go the opposite way of the conventional current right?

So alpha partcles are +ve and they go opposite way of beta

in other words : CONVENTIONAL CURRENT + AND ALPHA  are found by the normal LEFT HANND FLEMIMNGS RULE
If u wanna find beta.. u find the direction of the conventional current..the direction of movement of beta will be opposite of the conventional current

hey r we suppose 2 know the quantity of charge for static electricity ive seeen it in notes somwhere but i really dont understand it .. and its not in ur notes ???
