well i think all you need to know for IGCSE is Diode( i think )  ..

Open May/june 2005 question 9

Diode is the same a rectifier..it change A.C TO D.C ..makes current flow in 1 direction .

I had seen diode bridge in some paper .. lemme check ..

got it .. june 2009 paper 3 .. attached .. Q.9 b)
