Sin x = Perp. / Hyp. (Some People Have)
Cos x = Base/Hyp. (Curly Brown Hair)
Tan x = Perp./Base (Through Proper Brushing)

Some people have, curly brown hair, through proper brushing. :P

And the perpendicular (opposite) of ANY angle, is the side opposite of the angle.
That automatically makes the other side which is NOT the hyp. the base.
So, The Base and Perpendicular may be different for different angles in a right angled triangle

Then, Sine Rule.

Sin A     Sin B       Sin C
-----  = ------  = -------
  A           B            C

Then, Cosine rule.

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2bc X Cos A
b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2ac X Cos B
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab X Cos C

OR, if angle is needed,

Cos A = b^2 + c^2 - a^2 / 2bc (Note, the angle to be found is A. So on top, the last one being -sed will be a^2 - And the two being added above, will be the ones multiplying with 2 below)

help needed M/J 2004 question 2 c.....mine is 11 00 am GMT 3+

f(x) = x2 - x - 3

g(x) = 6 - X3/3

x2 - x - 3 = 6 - x3/3

x2 - x - 3  = 18 - x3
                            ---------
                                3
3x2 - 3x - 9 =  18 - x3

x3 + 3x2 - 3x - 9 - 18 = 0

x3 + 3x2 - 3x - 27 = 0

ii) find the intersection of these two graphs and write down the coordinates

Okay, I know what dependent events and independent events are, but where do we add and where do we multiply.

There is only one conclusion. There is no general hard-and-fast rule for probability. Sometimes you have to add, sometimes multiply, sometimes 1-(). It depends on the Question. And there is no explanation to why. So, basically, it's all screwed.

=(-3)2 -(- 3) - 3

= 9 + 3 - 3

=9

substitute " x " in f(x) try

@princess12 use the formula f(x)=x2-x-3 to find f(x) which is Y and use the x in the table......
