You should see the fest! Kshitij at Mithibai College: Kshitij is a 4 day college festival that came back after a few years gap to Mithibai college. The events at Kshitij 2007 included competitions, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, amateur shows and professional shows which were conducted in Bhaidas Hall, Jashoda Rang Mandir, Santokba Hall and classrooms of Mithibai College. Mr and Ms Kshitij, Treasure hunt, Fashion Shows and Rock Bands Events were part of the celebrations.

Umang at NM College: Umang is another popular event arranged and organized at the NM College in Juhu in Mumbai Suburbs. Umang is probably the biggest college festival in the western suburbs and colleges from all over congregate to have fun. This year Umang is from 15th August to 19th August. The fest has an impressive list of celebs like Shiney Ahuja, Carol Gracias, Kelly Dorjee, etc who are slated to judge the events this year. Umang Night on August 15 had rock band Parikrama performing two originals that have never been performed before. From model hunts to guitar wars, from courtroom trials to umbrella painting are all part of Umang’s activity calendar. Workshops are a big draw At Umang. This years highlight is the reading by Chetan Bhagat of his latest book, The 3 Mistakes of My Life. Coffee and chocolate addicts have a workshop dedicated to each aphrodisiac. For the career-minded, RJing and photography workshops, for dance lovers capoeira, foxtrot, street dance and belly-dancing workshops. For adventure lovers, rock climbing and archery workshops.
