The hard disk casing is called an enclosure. Ask for a hard disk enclosure.

thankx guyz.....but i'm trying to get an enlosure that fits my disk....its becoming difficult to find one....but ya that seems the only possible way.

ur hard disk is big one ryte...if so...

i hav made one..of my large hard disk..semi-portable..

as far as i know there r two type of hard disk one 2.5" and 3.5" (inch) check which ones is urs and buy that enclosure!

so get a 3.5" enclosure...WITH USB PORT AND A POWER SUPPLY PORT!!

i hav core duo i suppose..
whenever i connect it to my TV using HDMI cable..
either a virus enters it or
my mother board blows off
