ok heres my problem I wanna make 5 primary partitions in Windows 7, but after I make 3 all the others are automatically created as logical drives, how do I solve this?

recently i bought 500gb hard disk and formatted the computer and i made three partitions,so if u make three partitions so do u let the rest unformatted or what?

Its one of the simplest problems ever, you have to either use your Windows installation DVD to do it or use a 3rd party partition manager.
because windows disk manager has limitation on the number of primary partitions that can be created, so it by default creates logical drives when u try to make more partitions than it supports.

What problem do you exactly have? Check if all the jumpers are in their proper places, there should be instructions about it in ur motherboard's user manual

If you format your whole hard disk, then you'll need to re-install the OS afterwards and for that you'll need the OS's installation disk

I think that the disk will not hold data if its burnt and it will not work,sadly u have lost ur data!

aahh...akually maybe not the hardisk...the power supply of the cpu ....becoz of sudden voltage fluctuation....and there are companies that do data recovery.....but that's wayy 2ooo high and its only for fairly essential data..not personal home data....i just hope to find a way...

in ur using PC.............and ur power supply is burnt....
and if u think that hard disk is not damaged...then....y dont u buy i new power supply............
i did da same 1year ago!!!....or u can get a casing of ur hard drive from a shop ..that casing is a portable one with usb slots...and a power supply.....
so EVEN THO ITS NOT OFFICALY PORTABLE.....u can connect it to another computer..and access and copy da data!!

i think ur hard disk will be safe if ur power supply is only burnt due to voltage fluctuation,this happened with me and i just bought a new power supply and everything was working ok!

as far as i know there r two type of hard disk one 2.5" and 3.5" (inch) check which ones is urs and buy that enclosure!

So first of all, a crack is an application which bypasses the validation of genuinity of a software!
although there is no crack for msn messenger,it might be a problem from ur windows!
it can be because u might have pirated windows(like everyone)!
So can u tell ur windows version? like vista or xp or windows 7?
i will arrange a crack for u then!
untill then use other apps such as digsby and ebuddy to logon on windows live account!

here u go i got a crack for ur windows which will make ur windows genuine!
the file is a rar file unzip with winrar or any other program!
Extract WGA_1991.rar, and then run the WGA_v1.9.9.1_crack.exe self-installer inside the archive as administrator and LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe will be automatically patched.
tell me if u get it done!

i called my computer technician .. he told me to download a program called team viewer .. did that .. gave him a pass and ID .. then magically he started controlling my computer :P .. he put a crack or something .. and done .. msn working once again ;D

i saw many laptops for such price and have no value for their price,i think diamonds r encrusted! :D
but some gaming laptops may cost till there which provide value for the price but still so expensive get an extreme gaming desktop pc in half the price!@

Well... if you see the white as soon as you hit the power button (or within 5 seconds of doing so), your Motherboard is the problem, meaning that you'll have to replace the laptop. If it turns white like 10-30 seconds after you hit the power button, then it's the software, meaning that you'll have to either replace the hard drive, or reinstall the OS.

Oh then problem is not with motherboard and video card I guess.
It may be due to loose cable connection or something. Cuz the whole screen is not white.

- Check if the monitor signal cable is connected correctly to the back of your Graphics card.
- Check if your graphics card is connected correctly to the slot (No loose connections).
- Check if your motherboard supports the graphics card you bought (since its a brand new one)

If all the above ones are checked and still the problem persists, then check for the card in the monitor. It will have a card, if that's burnt, replace it.

Hard disk drive's age matters a lot. Formatting it will not change the performance if it is too old.
You are using windows as you mentioned, windows degrades over time. :)

My laptop was keep loading either in blue or black screen (as i keep restart my laptop) after i enter my password which i set it as a requirement to lodging to my computer.
Each time i restart my laptop, the system has 3 options for us to start, 1. safe mode, 2. start normally, 3. safe mode with command prompt.
I had chosen no. 3 and i enter into the safe mode. Then i deleted my expired antivirus software which is free from downloading. After deleting it, my laptop restart again and it return in a normal situation.
Actually what had happen? Is there anything wrong with my laptop? Will this happen again? I am afraid of losing my important data such as assignment.
Can anyone tell me?

No, you restart your laptop from the power key, thats the problem.
If the power goes while loading OS or shutting it down then it may corrupt your OS.
Please don't restart while the laptop is starting or shutting down, thats it --- your all data will be fine.

The worse situation is where it when black inn screen with the curse can be moved.

avin, it happens sometime, once you will have a report of "Windows has recovered from a serious problem" if you run on windows. :D Dont restart while its loading you have a chance of bricking your os.

Your data can be recovered any time.
As for graphics problem, go to device manager and update the drivers. :) Your lapi should be working fine.

I had this problem - now all my disks are raided - automatic backup. Cant do it on a laptop though.

You have external hdd then storing on that would be better if not.
Copy hard disk partition.
Or you can also repair you OS and backup data.
I am short on time otherwise i would have posted the method to repair os.

copying to external hard disk is never as good as raid which backs up everything automatically

I have Carbonite so if I have everything backed up to it and I restore, everything will be on it right?
Edit: I restored to 9 days ago and the problem is still happening.Edit 2: Could this be a problem with the mouse?
