Paul Smith, 41 years old, is a British maths and physics tutor, famous for his exam paper
website and his student forums as well as his own tutoring. He is considered one of the top
maths and physics tutors in the world. He has a first class Pure Maths Degree, and Mmath
Degree and an MSc, all from the University College of London. Paul is single, and lives in
Greenwich, London.
What is your earliest memory?Disgracefully I pooed myself
When were you happiest?Reading books
Which living person do you most admire, and why?Churchill. He had healthy disrespect for everyone
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?I JUST DO IT!
What is the trait you most deplore in others?Thinking they can't do something
What was your most embarrassing moment?I was in a lesson. I had a phone call and said, fine - there in 20 minutes. 2 minutes later I had another phone call, and said fine - there in 20 minutes. My student pointed out to me the disloyal and fickle person I was.
Property aside, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?32 foot catamaran
What would your super power be?The power to turn paper into money and burn it so the British people don't have to freeze.
What makes you unhappy?When technology doesn't work
What do you most dislike about your appearance?I don't like smart
If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose?Brontosaurus. No one else would have one
