 Bangladesh used to be east pakistan before. The bangladeshi people wanted independence, hence, they asked India to intervene. We intervened, and resulted in Bangladesh winning.

This post is not about kashmir, which is a source of friction. I think the gretest threat to the world will come from china  which has a sense of historical injustice, and like every powerful country, feels the world must recognise it's power. The west might be slow to react in the way Britain was in the late nineteenth century to the rise of germany and might sleepwar into a war with china.

In the end Inidia will be more powerful than China because it has greater powers of ideas and thought.

Frankly one day India could save us.

Ok, then maybe it was Bangladesh?

Sorry, I got confused :S But i remmebr it being one of the two!

Banglasdesh was originally part of pakistan, ruled from pakistan like a provine. In 1971/72 I think there was a civil war in which Bangladesh became independent. India intervened and this increased the bitterness.

Bangladesh and Pakistan were one and the same after the treaty in 1947 which resulted in formation of Pakistan. Problems happened(very silly one)..East Pakistan was formed(Bangladesh)

Now the problem was of the national language. Urdu was chosen as the national language but  most ppl in bangladesh(present) speak bangla and wanted bangla to be the national language. So they split after a lot of hustle and bustle

From poisoning baby foods it exports to adding lead in plastic toys..it has tried everything to weaken other economies

In the end, in kashmir the two sides must grind each other down to the bare brain and realise that they have no other other alternative to cycles of death than find out what the people of kashmir want. If the people of kashmir dont know immediately  then the process of finding out may take 100 years.

Also, an operation was carried out by the pakistani army to eliminate political opponents, Hindus and intellectuals. This move turned public opinion completely against Pakistan.

Chinas own babies were poisoned. I dont buy anything from china if I eat it, drink it or travel in it. Only electronics actually. Come to think of it, isnt the president of China a transistor saleman?

I realized that. Dictators usually fail to recognize when their time is up until they have to be booted out. Their country loves them! AS IF!

The major reason why china is ahead of india right now is because in china there is ONE RELIGION, ONE CULTURE and ONE RULER. Compared to China, India has made far more progress when u take all of this into account. There is no other country in the world that has achieved what india has been able to do.

I have stated that reason somewhere above...India was dragged into the controversy. Well.. one of them who created the problem(the partition)-Gandhi(he was not bad) was shot and the other (Jinnah..I don't know abt him)one was stabbed. So long after they r gone, we r still fighting

Hey, if we go on like this then we'll talk about west punjab, hindu majority and sikh majority cities in Pakistan.
And the main thing to remember is that the whole place used to be the Indian subcontinent.

and even if there were riots by indians, why do u think they took place? it is because they were being killed and genocide was taking place.
