LOL that was funny!

The orange people is what represents the RIGHT purpose of Ramadan and how Prophet Muhammed pbuh used to do. Prophet Muhammed pbuh would just have dates and water when he hears the azhan, after that he would go to maghrib prayer and then have some food.

Many people take Ramadan as an opportunity to be lazy, when in fact fasting is proved HEALTHY for our health and the purpose of Ramadan is improving ourselves, having a change and getting close to Allah.

+rep. Thanks for sharing. =]

LOL!! Yes, common but wrong nevertheless. The food wont go anywhere, so why stuff it all at once. Just a glass of water can satisfy the hunger. ::)   ;D

What did you vote for Muji?  :P

Iftar parties mean you're sometimes forced to eat up to the point of feeling like you'd throw up :( However, I don't have a light iftar because I don't have dinner afterwards, so my iftar is medium usually.
All that is on earth will perish:
But will abide (forever) the Face of thy Lord--full of Majesty, Bounty & Honor.
Then which of the favors of your Lord will ye deny?

Ditto. ^.^

I was at my Aunt's place for 2 days and MAN, they dunno what a NO means.  ::) :P

They were stuffing me until my face was all red. :-[

For Suhoor alone, there were 6/7 different kind of dishes prepared. >_<

That' not the ONLY problem to be honest. Another Major problem would be the type of food we eat , tell me about it ::)

I've ONLY eaten ONE Samboosa each day *Oily food * since the beginning of Ramadan and I got at least 10 pimples on my face now T_T

I am SO NOT eating it tomorrow :@ ... so ya plus the neighbors usually give loads of sweats and food. so NOT only do you eat oily food but fatty food too.

I suggest you try talking to your parents about the kind of food you think should be served i.e. if you don't like what mommy makes for you ,make it yourself ;)

My suhoor and iftar is mostly traditional dishes i.e. very hard for me to explain besides the fact that my accent is even harder to translate =.= ... anyways I don't eat that traditional dish since it has too many dates I replaced the dates with one banana =] So eat what benefits your body instead of just stuffing your body ;D

Seconded. 8)

On the authority of Al-Miqdam ibn Madiy-Karib who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying:
"No human ever filled a vessel worse than the stomach. Sufficient for any son of Adam are some morsels to keep his back straight. But if it must be, then one third for his food, one third for his drink and one third for his breath." [Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah - Hadith Sahih.]
