can some one plz tell me the chemical and physical properties of transition elements?

transition elements are those that form at least one ion with a partly filled d-orbital

Physical properties:

High densities
High melting and boiling points
good conductors of heat and electricity ( copper has exceptionally high conductance)

Chemical properties:

Forms coloured compounds
Act as catalysts
have variable oxidation states
forms complexes and ligands
