Post by: ADIN on May 28, 2009, 05:55:38 pm
Hey! Im really scared that my history teacher may have forgotten to put my candidate number and possibly even my centre number of my coursework and I think its already been sent. if she has, what will happen to my grade?

hey,

dont worry, ur teacher fills in a form that's put with all course works given by the students, so even if she forgot, the guys at CIE will refer to the form and know u  ;)

Thanks

@ Jimmy:

no he will not get a U !! lol  :P

i dont think his teacher is mad enough to send the course works without the form, and about ur friend who got a U, well he broke the rules, it clearly says on the cover of the exam that the candidate should write in blu or black ink,

our frind here didnt break any rule, so the only way he will get a U is if his coursework is very bad (which im sure is not)

thanks  :)

ok, instructions are kinda like rules right ??

if u get instructions from ur teacher telling u dont open the book, or a poster titled rules saying dont open the book, it wont make a difference,

i really feel sorry for nid,

my advice, go speak to ur examinations officer, maybe he can send a special letter to CIE explaining ur situation

nope i really font think 6 answer in pencill gonna do anything, i mean its alright, even if u have more red blood cells than white ones, still it would be enough to protect ureselve from minor diseases. i think its alright..

Thank you to those who replied.. but my history teacher is seriously the CRAZIEST and STUPIDEST person in the world so im still worried. u said that the CIE ppl will know me from that form... do u have any idea as to what is in it?? because if the candidate number is not mentioned on my coursework, CIE will have to go through the trouble and coordinate it in such a way that my grade is fed into my candidate number blah blah. and considering the amount of material they get...

adin, dont worry, just think even if the guy had no brain, so just wat if imean wat if he wrote the candidate name......how could u be 100% sure. regardless tht u think he is stupid.but really..can u say 100% tht ure teacher wont write ure candidate number.

and nid, inshallah nothing will happen, 6 ans......COME ON 6 ans in pencil is not like u wrote the whole paper in pencil.....u will get marks for those answer...its most important u write the answer even if it was with spit rather than to leave it...

Hey, thank you to those who responded although this thread seems be headed in another direction now... nid dont worry, Im sure theyll understand considering u dint write the entire paper in pencil but only a section of it. why dont u ask ur head to send a letter or something. and abt the form, do ull have an idea of whats in it?? because my history teacher is MORE THAN CAPABLE of doing nething lol. because im worried that if she forgot my candidate number CIE will have to go through the trouble and search me and coordinate it in such a way that my grade is fed into my candidate number thingy; and considering the amount of material they get, the chance of them making a mistake is high. has this happened to ne1 else before?? on an off note, I have two papers a day starting from monday!!!!

hek yea it happened to lot of ppl i know, it also happend to them tht not even thier teachers checked if everything is written.... so i mean thts like no ones writing the candidate number. but then the cie finds a way, cuz they got each and every file of  you and ure region, tracing all ure exam papers is like writing ure own name. and every one of em got the results with no problem (an i mean the correct and deserved results) beside the file/form already consist ure info...my frnds didnt even know they had forms for thier coursework.... lol

and u shouldnt worry, go to ur teacher tmr and ask him, they wont send ur exam a day or 2 after u do it, they send them all exams once theyre all done in the centre.
