Title: Edexcel Bio Unit 6b preparation??
Post by: MKh on March 25, 2011, 02:21:33 pm: Salaam, is anyone here preparing for edexcel Bio Unit 6b? If yes, could you please tell me how you guys are preparing for this paper? simply solving past papers is enough? What else do we need to know? how do we sufficiently prepare for this paper? do you guys have any extra worksheets or notes that will be helpful in preparation? Please share any resourses/tips you guys are having to prepare for this paper...i hope anyone will be able to help...Thanks a lot

Post by: Saladin on March 29, 2011, 02:39:57 pm: I am not sitting biology, but I can tell you about the practical papers in general. The thing is you need to focus on experiments here and often we cannot do that because we cannot repeat those experiment.

Often, I try looking at videos of the experiments available.

Also, the most important thing is to do past paper questions, but it does not stop there.

You need to do these questions and then highlight the questions you got wrong. You will see that if you work to reduce those problems, it will be to your greatest advantage.

You might alsy try to find a correlation in the questions i.e. finding what is similar in each paper, and making sure that you base there is as strong as it possibly can be.

The answers must be in the CD.

Which textbook do you have?

-Insert the CD
-Right-click on 'autoplay'
-There'll be a folder: 'eda2bio'
-Then after click on the next folder: 'ab'
-The answers will be in MS word document.

When you insert the CD into the computer/laptop. . . Go to My computer and then right-click the CD option and then choose autoplay.

I am sorry but I don't take Edexcel Biology. I only take Edexcel Physics and Chemistry =(

Sorry for the late reply but i didnt know that you wanted it, i just found it today. Anyways here is the book, just the experiments and question based on them. I am extremely sorry for the bad scanning, the book is photocopied. However, it is really helpful and reliable, its from edexcel and for A2 Biology unit-6b.
