well idk either :/ im confused about this, either way thanks for your help and everyone elses :D means alot to me =]

does anyone know a gpa calculator for IGCSE or smth like that, would edexcel help me with smth like this?

Chingoo:
I think you should contact your exam board (which I'm assuming is Edexcel) with regards to equivalence of your grades. If they are unable to provide you something concrete, then contact the universities you are intending to apply to via email, clearly asking what are the requirements for A-Level students, which transcripts do they need you to supply and how can you get equivalence, if needed. Often universities will just require your Certificate and will determine the equivalence themselves.

I did find a calculator, but it does not conform to the A* system. Here

EDIT: I found out a CIE document on conversion of grades, and though I suppose it won't help you much but I think the procedure for equivalence for Edexcel and CIE is one and the same.

thanks!! okay im good for the o-levels, they're CIE but my A-levels are Edexcel, does that grade conversion differ if it's CIE or Edexcel?? if it's the same then that's good for me :D

As far as I know, it's the same. You can always email Edexcel to confirm, but it has to be equivalent because Canadian/Australian Universities do not specify boards for A-Level examination grades when stating their requirements.

I have't read any of the replies, but based on your question.Certain subjects of A levels with a good grade can earn credits in US universities.
But YOUR SAT1 and essay play a huge role.
How is your uni search coming up so far?
By now,you should have a list of 'em :D

Cheers!
