Human Biology a Subject?
« on: August 17, 2010, 11:19:25 pm »
Hey, so I've been trying to look at Edexcel A-Level Human Biology.... problem is.. I can't find it anywhere.
I found it on the edexcel website in the Curriculum 2000 section. But is that still current? I would like to do the subject inidvidually, and I would like to know more about it before school starts this September.
Can someone who might be taking Human biology AS Edexcel this year please tell me about it?
Oh, and I don't mind CIE either. I'm in Asia, so either of CIE or Edexcel will do.

It is not available as a separate subject in the new specification.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Are you sure? That's what I thought too. I thought that they'd discontinued the subject in 2008, but then I saw January 2010 papers on Edexcel.

That was from the old specification. People are still taking the old specification. Like accounting, they are taking the old spec.

Oh so I can still do the exam for the old specification right? Or were these recent exams the last of the old spec?

You can still do them through the old spec, just like people can do accounting.
