for eg in 2001nov
1b how do you measure that ??
3b dont you place the weights closer to the pivot moment=force*distance from fulcrum?
but ms says place the 100 g further! huh?
4a(ii) i thought the two precations would be :
1.use same size beaker
2.use same volume of water
but ms not even mentions the sencond which i rote and says that sam intial temperature is apoint. HUH !!!! isnt that already mentioned??
--- End quote ---
i attached my answers to (1b) and (3b) but im not sure if theyr'e right ( can someone please confirm)
"same size beaker" is similar to "same volume of water" according to my physics teacher (i cant explain why :P)
astarmathsandphysics:
1b) The rule should be vertical at the centre where the load is.
3b) The 55.5 g mass should be about 4.5 divisions from the centre.
hyebyekadal:
hy qboy thanks mans for atleast repnding to my q!! anyway how come the fulcrum q is like that? since its 100g shouldnt it be closer to the fulcrum?? and also they q before how ccan u fin length of drepression from taht?
