Salams.

The January sessions are usually for the re-sits or the people who give half their AS or A2 Levels; you cannot give all the modules available. So, either way, you are going to have to sit the June session.

So, I think it is best to sit all the papers in the June session. Also if you give your exams divided in two sessions i.e. Jan and June, some universities (especially American and British) may look down at these candidates, as often the Universities want people with just one sitting and not multiple sittings.

And taking econ would be an excellent idea, because this way, you still have the financial and science side open. Furthermore, it completes your 4th subject, and gives you a better chance at a University admission.

Hope this helps

really ?!  :o ..WOW....well over here i attend a school where everyone usually takes some subjects in jan section to somewhat make it easier for them to take the whole rest in June . It'd be hard to do all in june ,that's a huge pressure *it's not like IG u kno *

Well luckily i have thought more deeply abt it but i'm still thinking abt the subject.

No, it is easier than IG. For AS, I highly recommend that you do it all in one session. Actually I think it puts more load on, because you have extra time to revise and give it in the June session, whearas, if you give in both jan and june, you will have to take out a month for the exam itself, so you will not be able to finish the rest of the syllabus off tbh.

Well, that subject certainly has my vote. It will help you in more ways than one.

You can take one or two subjects in Jan if you want.

Subjects that will be possible for you to sit in Jan are Math and Eco. Physics and Chemistry will require lots of studying. The syllabus might be long so sit them in June.

Or, you can just take the easiest subject in Jan and like this you will guarantee an A* in that subject studying it alone. Math or Economics/Accounting you can sit them in Jan session.

Accounting is a very easy and scoring subject between. All my friends here in KSA and Egypt are taking it to help their scores get higher when applying for universities. Requires hard work but once you learn it, all what you have to do is apply the concept and surely scoring high grades.

P.S, AS is somehow similar to o-levels so nothing to fear about them. =]

You cant shorten Physics and chemistry syllabus. They are too long so they have to be given in June.
Economics You can give in January but you will have to study harder and i am not sure you will be able to give time to the science subjects.

Econ is not easy, it is a lot of work, and you have a lot of work to cover.

I can assure that the Chem exam is a smallest syllabus, and if you did Chem in IGCSE, its a breeze.
