Hey all!!
so basically i wanna buy a good guitar..and i literally know NO|THING about guitars!
All I know is that I should buy one which suits my music preferences, and mine are pretty simple-ALL!
I'd like to play all types of music, starting from metal and all the way through to country, rock, and pop.
I know it seems crazy, but now I'm down to classical and acoustic.
Now what? I hard acoustic is really heard to play on in the beginning.
Any help?
Uh...I think I'm late.
Anyway, so when you start initially, I'd suggest you buy a simple acousitc/spanish acoustic. Any of them would be good enough. Buy a reasonable acoustic because you need to save for the electric
So I'd suggest you go for a reasonable Gibson, Seagull or a Yamaha. I repeat don't look for fancy guitars in the beginning.
Now if you have a tutor, no trouble. If you don't, the links provided are good enough. Anything else, you can ask me
Acoustic might take a year or so to be perfect with.
Then you might want to get an electric
So yeah as a beginner I'd suggest you keep your budget fairly low and upgrade later. Electric is obviously expensive as compared to acoustics, but don't spend as much on your first electric. I'd suggest you buy an ESP/Ibanez/Fender/Samick. So once you choose your guitar, you've gotta choose an amp. I use a Laney which is good enough. You can go for a Roland or Marshall. If you can get a line6 amp nothing like it, it'll be a one time buy(cause it's expensive
). You won't really use pedals at the early stages. I don't use them full fledged either. I'm only a few months old to my LTD. But if you want to buy a pedal early hand, then I suggest you buy a entire processor(with tonnes of effects) for use when you've mastered. You have to spend a lot for your electric, which is why your acoustic shouldn't be very fancy.
I just noticed yeah... sorry for the late reply
