Why doesnt solar power Power animals

It feeds plants and cars across the desert. I thought life would find a way.

Hehe, it does power plants, on which the animals are dependent. So, indirectly, it does power the animals!

I think that is for our own good. Like if we did derive power from sunlight, we would not have to eat anything. We would miss the tastes of chocolates, sizzling and other good stuffs. If life adapted that way, we would have no mouth or tongue and would all look odd in appearence.

Ohh. Microorganisms? But already, plant planktons derive power from sunlight. I think other microorganisms who are in the food chain also derive power, albeit indirectly, from the sun. But the chain starts off with plant planktons./

Men have been researching the chemistry of cell. They are unable to even create a cell themselves even with billions worth of research. What makes you think nature is bankrupt?

Nature uses photosynthesis, which men had not been able to and which drives the whole plant and animal kingdom.

Uhh.. The whole basis here is time. Evolution has taken millions of year and here we have been studying cell structure for about 420 years.. How can you compare them?
