CIE Applied ICT May/June 2009 Examinations: How was your exam?
My AS xam wasnt so good .... had a prob wid the report of 21 marks .... crosstab shud be used which i dint .... n .... also have a confusion ... can u guys tell me how many records came in the last report of access ..... Regarding My A2 xam, it was great .... xpecting to get 90 out of 90 ........

in the 21 mark we dint hav to use a crosstab query .. .we can do it without a cross tab ...
just by doing count of "CustRef"....

and for the last report there were 5 records.. How many did u get

@master786 ..... in the last part .... i got only three records ... should have used the OR criteria ... neway ... how is ur preparation for theory? yes its on 13th May ... my prep is very bad ... dunno what to read and follow which book?

The last question for AS. What did you write for it . I didnt know what to write for 20 marks.  If anyone has done A2 paper, how did u do the search thing.

yeai n my class quite a few had gotten 3 records... but then they forgot to use the OR criteria ... as u said :P...
for theory..preperations are good... just  ifu hav the book calledApplied ICT by Brian Sergent?
the first 4 chapters u havto read thru and u will be fine

and abt the  corporate housestyles...
when i read thru the text book..there were two paragraphs.. on it ...dint really remember them prperly but tried to elaborate on whatever i remebered

my paper wasnt dat good :( (AS practical) anyways da las report we did it by searchin it on da internet.....i jus hope dat da curve gets really looooooow(it will hopefully)

ONce again i ask.  What shoud we have done about the last question. The 20 marks one.   And if someone has done A2, how about the search question in MS.Access.
