The scientist within me says loves is simply a hormonal reaction; an imbalance in the chemical makeup of our body for a fleeting moment.

But, thats just me being a cynic. Being part of the human race, I feel love is something we are too immature to understand at this moment in time.

However, in the future we will find our soulmate and it is then that we will truly uncover the meaning of 'finding true love'.

Until then love is a mystery and only something we can experience with our family.

A child's love is pure and unconditional.  You think the child doesn't understand love. It sure does. I remember visiting my 2 yr old cousin in Abu Dhabi. I was there only for a day. When I was about to leave, we both had tears in our eyes. I still miss him.

So, it's not really the age. Love is Love...mixing it up with crush/infatuation would be wrong.

true, i agree . Other than the partner type of love, we experience love all the time, and its 100% true love. Specially with family, how your problems are treated like their problems, how their tears bring tears to our eyes, how their smiles make us smile, all the time.

And I guess there will be someone who will come and join the picture later. I think true love exists, but we mix it up with infatuations/obsession/lust/etc and jump to conclusions sometimes
