Guys I don't have notes per say on this Paper 5. But I've been going through a couple of them. (I only started a few hours ago with this paper never having touched them before) And it's not that crazy. If you've retained the knowledge from you AS level practicals you should be able to wing it just fine. Remember how we had to follow the directions on how to prepare this and that for the AS level practicals. It's exactly like that except this time we're the examiners and we've got to give the explicit details and procedures.

Apart from that the only thing new I see is that we've got to be able to manipulate the tabular information which can be done with some concentration and just some new terminology like dependent/independent variable etc etc which I'm sure everyone's familiar with. Anyways I know that wasn't much help at all but That's the only advice I can give. Good luck for tomorrow all!

What's the use of calculating the gradient from the graph? What do we do with it once we've found it?

it is to find the ratio of [your y-axis label/your x-axis label]
then, from that ratio, you'll be able to equate the gradient with the ratio, which is in terms of x.
check mark scheme for a complete series of possible combinations.
