I don't know which paper exactly you'll be doing, but as for my school we'll be doing paper 33. And I overheard the teachers talking about getting sugar/glucose from the hospital for practicals. So I'm guessing it could have something to do with food tests.
But either way remember everything there is to know about calibrating the microscope with the graticule and memorise the structure and cells within the plants you should be fine.
