but i do belive to a certain limit there should be corporal punishment since some students due to the levity of money provided by their parents try to behave very harshly against other students and teachers

some of them even try to argur with teachers who are twice their age.....
so to an extent corporal punishment should be allowed as this can result in helpin students and teachers... 8)

For the students or the teachers?  ;)

Remark, these days teachers are the victims.

But Playvill, its a kind of child abuse. Many criminals are believed to have been the victims of child abuse when they were young. And the assumption that giving them physical punishments makes them better - I really doubt that. What makes them better is appropriate counselling.

how can counselling change a person and how long that is the rite question i belive how long can a perosn be counseled to change him/ her......
and i don't belive it can turn a person to be a crimnal .... what i meant to say in the previous statement was that corporal punishments at home like spanking the child or punishing the child when they're small can only refine them for their own future it doesn't turn he/she into a crimnal....
but in someplaces people do misue the idea of corporal punishment by carrying it out extremely in that way there can be a chance of a student turning out to be a crimnal....

Not not a corporal punishments but they should have punishments like of detentions/fines and anything like this :P
Easiest way to punish a student who really deserve is to make him/her feel embarrass in front of all the school in the morning assembly :P

no way kids should not be scared of school and scared of making mistakes
punishments should be strict but not violent
these kinda things r wht lead people to suicide nd depression
if you wanna get somewhere in life do something about it dont just leave it up to luck!!!!!!!

Punishment should not be completely banned.

You can't possibly expect a Bully to be polite if you kindly tell him to mind his own business.
