Economics and business are the hardest topics to achieve A*s in, or even straight A's. You need a VERY VERY good tutor in both subjects.

more on economics its how clear ur concept are and how well u can apply them....one really helpful thing while writing answers is going step by step and explaining each statement why??....assume the examiner is  a layman and he doesnt noe nething.... make ur answers very clear.....
Second make sure u can apply ur knowledge..... one thing i recommend is researching and updating urself on the int..... especially using bized and tutor2u which have many quizzes too.... but do some good research will really get u thorough

also, remember to bring back your answer to case study given.. applying to case study is very important as it usually holds about 3 marks in a 10-12 mark question.

Economics and business are the hardest topics to achieve A*s in, or even straight A's. You need a VERY VERY good tutor in both subjects.

And more analysis, insight, far-sight, intensive study to hypothetical cases, value judgement...

Just remember: Examiners want the best economics -- that's the main purpose. They will give an A* to the one who can prove to be up to expectations. Someone who thinks and will act as a rational economist.

Good Luck!
