sd=sqrt(sum x^2/n -mean^2)
=sqrt(46625/25-(1075/25)^2)=4
mistak in question sum x^2 should be 46625.

The mean is the average of the 3 quartiles=45

\frac{X-\mu}{\sigma}=Z

\frac{54-45}{\sigma}=0.67

Check the log table for the step above.
