BC=\frac{18*\frac{1}{3}}{sin(60)}

BC=4\sqrt{3}

Besides, it's asking you to state the answer.

Simple logic again, look at the width of the rectangle. Its 40 cm. So maximum of x cannot be more than half of the width, 0 < x < 20.

(a)   Write down formulae for sin (A + B) and sin (A - B).

   Using X = A + B and Y = A- B, prove that

               Sin X + sin Y = 2 sin  X+Y/2 cos X-Y/2

b) hence solve for 0<=x<360
 
sin 4 thita + sin 2 thita = 0
