Today's technology is good or bad

here is something really important..
We nowadays can't live without the technology everywhere we are surrounded by technology somewhere it is good and somewhere bad what do you think about it...??
Is it good or is it bad or awesome or worst...

I mean to say does it help us or not....??

Today's technology is good, but used in a bad way.

I'll elaborate on the above comment.

50 years ago if you wanted to send a letter to a friend abroad, you used snail mail and it took like a month to arrive. Now, with email, the letter arrives in seconds.

But .. with email you also get:

- SPAM
- Viruses
- Pedophiles harassing young children
- Threats
- Rumors

Why? Because it's so fast and easy to do so!

100 years ago you sent messengers on horse back to deliver messages to people, now with SMS, mobiles, and the internet, you can go on web cam or video call so easily.

But .. with these we also get:

- perverted people who roam these websites
- explicit images being shown on web cam

50 years ago, you painted a nice image, now we capture the image using top notch cameras in seconds!

cameras are being used by paparazzi that don't respect privacy, again perverts, etc.

I can go on and on, the technology is great, but we have to use it right, and I'm sure most of us here at the forums do so!

but technology is not just cell phone, internet, etc.It is computers, printers, cars, etc..I mean these are some things that which are rarely misused i am not saying that these can not be misused but generally they aren't in fact these are improved to be used nicely..

Technology is always good. Common, nothing is 100% cons free!

It enables us to do so many things. It has allowed us students from all over the world to form the SF Community. It allows me to send letters in the form of emails. It allows me to download things over the internet. It allows us to send emails advertising people about products. It allows us to shop online. It allows disabled people to access facilities which would otherwise be difficult for them... And many more to come in the future...

depends on how we use it. we need them now. It is said that Necessity is the mother of invention!
If they are for your convenience then why using it in excess or in a wrong way!
Go and follow the rules of everything.. everything will look nice and good!

Ofc its good and stuff but what i want more important to say, is that it doesn't make a diff. If u were aalive a hundred years ago, u wouldn't know about these things so u wouldn't be sad about smth u have never seen. Also like today we have games (and we say how can people sit around  in the desert in the past without doin anythings) well guess what, they also had their own games that they loved. Today we are happy with the technology we have, just like people in the past were, and this is why we are not sad about the things we don't have but will exist in the future I know u didnt get the last part ^^ It means that we aren't sad about the future's technology cuz we haven't experienced it. So people in the past aren't sad about today's technology because they haven't seen it too (sad means sad that they dont have )
