Geography Help ! :(

Hey Guys,
I know exams are in 16 days but I am really stuck with Geography. All I know is 3 Chapters : Population, Rivers and Coasts. Other than that I dont know anything about Geography. I got a D in June 2009 with those 3 chapters. Now I need to know what are the most important chapters to focus on that will help me get atleast a C or B. I don't take geography so i can't really say which ones have more weightage....but this is a wrong way to look at it

Hey Xtreme,

I can see that you're in pretty deep trouble if you only know a small part of the syllabus, I would recommend you get a professional home tutor to help you study the rest of the syllabus. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to focus your studying on the most important parts of the book, which are chapters: 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17. It won't be easy, and you will have to put in as much effort as possible to improve your grade. I think dedicating 2 hours a day for Geography would help you achieve at least a C.

nid404 : I would do all the chapters if I had the time .. but am already doing 3 As subjects and 3 Olvls .. So i cant really do all of them .. besides you have no knowledge about geography .. not all the chapters are important

for paper 1, they always bring two questions from each of the main 3 themes making it 6 questions. The themes are:population ant settlement;the natural environment;and economic development and the use of resources. since you don't have much time left, you can decide to concentrate on only two themes but this will leave you with only 4 questions to choose 3 but i think this will benefit you more since you only have a limited time to the exams.
