should india be a nuclear power?

<< < (8/9) > >>

$tyli$h Executive:
As far as nuclear weapons are concerned, I already explained why countries should try to create or possess as much nuclear weapons as it can.

Now for the power thing. Yes. It has a certain disadvantage of radioactivity. But its advantages far outweigh the SOLE disadvantage of radioactivity. As coal, oil and natural gas becomes exhausted, it will be a valuable source of energy. It will be necessary to maintain our current standard of living. To do that, we will HAVE to use nuclear power.

So nuclear power is needed for a lot of things and to use it wisely we need someone to take decisions for how to, how much, and when to use it and even with what all precautions...so there again will be a fight for all these authorities...it's better we first use whatever we have once we think that what we have will not last for ong we can then use nuclear energy..

@stylish i don't really think we should produce as many as possible nuclear weapons 'cause they can cause harm due to any catastrophe.

nuclear power is much similar to fuel but with higher energies

and every country in this world have fuel , does this mean all countries are equal in the present time

it seems like u are the one who dont get it, not me  :P

T.Q:
lool hehehe ;)

i know that nuclear power can create disasters , but this can happen only when its uncontrolled

but if we control it , it will be safe

Angel Of Love:
ya it will definitely be safe but the question here is should India be a nuclear power or not...
