could someone please explain to me the reactions of primary, secondary, and tertiary alkenes with kmno4, in like simple terms. with the products. this is wat i know primary give carbon dioxide, secondary gives acid, tertiary gives ketone, but then my teacher also said that if u consider the double bond to be broken then a primary gives acid, secondary gives ketone, and tertiary doesnt react. if u didnt get wat i mean the just ignore and plz simply tell me the reactions, Thanks
