A bulletin board (pinboard, pin board or notice board in British English) is a place where people can leave public messages, for example, to advertise things to buy or sell, announce events, or provide information. Bulletin boards are often made of a material such as cork to facilitate addition and removal of messages or it can be placed on the computer so people can leave and erase messages for other people to read and see.

A bulletin board is a site where all users of that site can post a topic and all other users can see and reply to that post, A bulletin board is somewhat like a forum, more or less like this forum itself!:)

state 2 benifits of storing an encyclopedia on CD ROms rather than in printed form???
-prnted pprs cn gt lost
-hard n tym takin as there will be bunch of pprs


describe one effect  on the employees in the print industry ,other than un employment, of using cdroms for storing thid type of info....

this-Advantages would be the Cost of Blu-Ray compatible hardware, The risk of another person (who you want to give data to through a Blu-Ray) not having the proper hardware to read the disc, since it's a new technology...

this is wat our teachr gave:
BULLETIN BOARD
a compu system dat allows users to connect and log into the system . once logged in , user can:-
-download n upload softwares
-reading newws
-exchange msgs
-lok into advertisemnts

adv:
 :) donot need an ISP
 :) Exchange msgs
 :) look into adverisemnts

disadv:
 :( lack of privacy (every msg can be seen by evry1)
 :( it doesnt alert u to incoming msgs

2006, May/june Paper 1 Q19

About the advantages and disadvantages of banking online, the question is for 8 marks which i assumed that they want 4 ad. and 4 this. So, i cannot think of more than two so, if anybody knows more ,this will be great.
