I always used to ask that in primary .. got the answer until last year .. scientifically speaking white light of the sun has many colours ROYGBIV .. only the blue light gets scattered due to some Raylee or something scattering by O2 and N2 in the atmosphere .. other colours do not scatter .. don't ask y ..

sorry for the science class .. but u asked for it :P

Why is water blue in a NON-POLLUTED sea ??

haha actually an scientific answer !!! i knew it already i think u 4got i was a science student until my AS level !!
now scientific answer to ur ques : it absorbs the blue the sky reflects !!
