Help me aditoxic in a really simple math vector thingy

Q 5)a)ii)  Can u explain how u get the answer. Usually i can do these kind of sums but my brain is numbed from naming isomers...

OD is d, and DE is -0.5c
so it's d - 0.5c

.. is it?

because it is a regular hexagon ari!!

the question says it is a regular hexagon. that means that if you divide it into 6 triangles, they will be equilateral triangles and all sides will be equal. try to visualize it
