What will you have to download? v basic website will just be a single page with links to files or directories. freeexampapers started out like that

You can register a domain name for a few dollars. If you want a big website don't go for free hosting. They restrict your diskspace and bandwidth. Better to try a major host eg hostgator

Expect to pay about $100 for a years hosting

try x10 hosting. Excellent services and customer support.

I am experienced with making and maintaining websites, so you can ask me any simple questions.

Try GoDaddy for cheap domain names. I used some other site for mine though; have it bookmarked on my pc. (I'm ok my phone at the moment)

through webs.com but i am not happy  my bandwith is just 100mb and it getting full quickly :'( any ideas how to improve my website its killc.webs.com

To make money you need some ads from google/adbrite. google are the best. they get clicked a lot more than adbrite ads..
