Is it  possible to withdraw a subject that you have registered for?

Let's say i registered for a subject and I later on decided i don't want to do the test. Can I withdraw that subject?

Yes, but I don't really care if I get a refund or not.

My exam for that subject is probably on the 27th of October and I didn't get the statement of entry, yet. Apart from that, the registration deadline is on the 28th of September.

I'm going to consult the British Council before my Centre since they're very retarded. However, I did read somewhere on the British Council's website that I get a refund and all if it's before the deadline.... o.o

I hope that I can withdraw this subject as there's no time >.<.

My centre told me that I can, but I won't get a refund and there's going to be an X next to my Subject -_-.
