PLEASE help me retake my IGCSE English language exam

I got a C in my english language exam for IGCSE english language and have to retake it in Oct/nov.

I got 4a*,3a,b, but i messed up in the most important subject.

PLease help me prepare with tips and stuff and which books should i buy from amazon.

There r a lot of ppl with a C...Are you sure you want to resit for the paper...Your results r pretty good..I guess you should work harder in A levels and do better here...Unis look for you A level grades, not IGCSE...

Ya, but english lang has to come by itself, you cant really learn it. I got an A*, but Allah knows how.

I have so many friends who are in different countries all over the world....they can speak the national language fluently....Nothing comes by itself...
In fact my grandfather can speak arabic, read and write the language too...as he worked in the UAE as an architect for 20-25 yrs

He learned the language...it didn't come by itself

Work your language skills s-j-123, I'm sure you'll do better in A levels

Ya, but english lang has to come by itself, you cant really learn it. I got an A*, but Allah knows how.

nd s-j-123 forget abt ur IGs even i got similar grades but now even i have givenup the idea of reappearin n all tht jus work hard n do well in ur A-levels

Unis look for A level grades...so don't bother urself

No the style for English First Language, it is personal, sure a personal can read and write a langauge, but for perfect English First Lang, it needs to have a very personal flare....


And ya, u shud not care, A levels only count...

As nid and the dude said, A-Levels are more important to concentrate on. So make sure you do well now in them, but, I think you should aim for a B or higher if you are resitting it, because some unis, they insist that you got a B or above in English
