Ah...indifference. Happens to me too...it hurts but then I guess we just gotta let go.
Be good to the person whatever he/she does to you. Whether the person cares or not shouldn't matter.If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded. Don't expect anything from someone who's selfish. He/She only remembers you when the need arises. You care like you always did. Don't expect the feeling to be reciprocative. When we expect too much, we only meet disappointment.
