who can explain to me this easy question...nov/04...30..

this is because in this question the current splits to go through the 2 resistors ( so each one gets 1 Amp)
but when the current combines again, it goes back to the normal reading which is 2 amps

ppl there is smthn dat i dnt get june 1999 question 34???can any1 help i cnt really c da difference between da bells??

a  magnetism is induced in the arm when a current passes and the arm is attracted to the electromagnet so the bell rings

then the circuit is shorted so nu current flows in the magnet and the arm is released and the whole thing happens again

someone explain to me q3 may/june 2008

Thank You:D

average speed=total distance/total time

total distance-25x3=75km
time=0.5hrs
therefore speed=75x2=150km/hr

why 75 x 2??..
it should be 75/0.5....

@cool dude: 75/0.5=75/1/2

and 75 divided by 1/2 is 75x2

@cool dude: 75/0.5=75/1/2

and 75 divided by 1/2 is 75x2

haha..okok..
but then, u wrote the equation..and u didnt use it..
nway, thats fine..

90-30=60

this should tell u

angle of incidence is the angle between the normal and the incident ray.

because there are 2 resistors each one is 2 ohms, so the current splits equally between them because they have the same resistance

( november 2004, paper 1, question 34 )
B - the 3 A one

its not 50 A or 10 A because it wil be able to take the current of the mains and lead respectively...and probably affect the hair dryer

u cant put a 1A fuse too because the device needs 2A...

therefore B -- 3A
divine intervention!

hurmm...another quest is..how do we know which fuse can we use..? nov/04..34

it says the hair dryer takes 2amps, and the lead can carry 5amps
so it cant be blow 2amps cuz  then the fuse would blow and hair dryer wont work, and it cant be above 5amps, cuz the hairdryer might get messed up
so it has to be between 2-5, and thonly answer there which is between 2-5 is 3amp fuse
