Asexual:
- allows for a quick "doubling" of populations (faster)
- less energy required for reproduction
- daughter offspring look exactly and have the same genetic material as the parent
- lack of genetic variation
- population may go extinct with dramatic changes in environment

Sexual:
- allows for genetic variation due to the joining of two different individuals (VERY important for humans)
- less population growth
- slower process
- requires long-term energy use

Asexual reproduction requires only one parent, it doubles itself and the daughter organism is exactly the same as the parent individual.. they have the same genetic make up they're pretty much the same,, its like when u make a photcopy of something..

Sexual reproduction requires two parents, gametes are used.. the process is slower n generally takes a longer time, the individual formed is new and has genetic information from both the father n the mother..

pretty much tats all i got.. not too sure about disadvantages n advantages..

well i dont reli predict from remembering what came in paper 1 n paper 6..

i just follow the trends in the past papers.. so far I've found out that there's almost always a question on seed germination.. auxins could come.. most likely.. n pretty much the whole of the extended syllabus lol..

yes its pretty vague i know.. but predictions dont reli help much anyways..

i guess...  eco systems might show up.. also food chains/ food web, also homeostasis... abt genes( drawing punnet square) ... abt nutrition ... photosynthesis ... respiration... abt composition of breathing.. thts wat i think.
