hey i had a question that if there is a liquid in a container which exerts 15000Pa pressure and then it is put in a container with double the base area, then will the pressure change?thx.

liquid pressure depends on the height of the container, the density of the liquid and the gravitational force

here the liquid hasen't changed.
but if the height of the new container is the same
i don't think the pressure exerted will change

Don't confuse P=Dgh with P = F/A. I made that mistake in the exam today. >_>

thats right

p = density of liquid * height of the container * acceleration due to gravity i.e 9.8 m/s2

but since the same mass of liquid has been put and the density shouldnt really have changed soshouldnt the volume be the same.if the volume is same, with higher base area, the height will decrease rite?this came today.
