the same happened with me after really long flights from new york to here dubai, my ear was painin hell lot...infact even after two weeks it was not any good =\
so yes dibss is right, its a home remedy to heat a piece of garlic in oil n then pour tht oil in ur hear,make sure it cools a teeny bit to prevent any burns =D

yes apparently its too scary, lol everyone was fast asleep, it was around 2 am , barely a week when we came back from NYC, n my ear was gettin very annoying, so i tried......the bubbling oil freaked me so much tht i just threw away the spoon n went back to bed in hope tht it'll be good soon =.=
take help from ur mom if you want or ditch the idea n get some ear drops :D
