Unfortunately for me, I don't know much Punjabi :D. Well that is where you got it wrong. It isn't the opposite.

LOL I know a little Punjabi cause my dad lived there through his entire childhood so he is very proficient in it and has a lot of Punjabi friends.

Doost kabi garaj kay baasna parta hai. Dunya itni achi nahi hai....
