@ ZAINY: just tell me what u dont get and ill try to explain if u want..

@Shogun: ya the calculation one was really difficult for me in the beginning but u know later after i practiced the past papers u will find it is easy, just dont worry...PRACTICE PAST PAPERS!!

@rfi:ok lol!! just dont worry for Bio I guess it is an interesting subject, just go through the book once or twice...and besides u still have time :)

Thanks monica, ill try harder this time wid the past papers

cau i did practise the past paper but the conclusion is tht i always answer them by looking atthe mark scheme even if i dont want to , i just peek automatically lol

i wanna do them widout having a glance at any part of the mark scheme of those particular question.

no monica, ive been through the book so many times... and i still got just 88 on my mock! lol, for me that is BAD. im supposed to get 100%...

im not aiming at an A or even an A*. i mean, im not even close to distinguishment. lolz...

im not trying to boast, its just what my parents expect...  :P

Sulphur
Sulphur is a member of oxygen family in group (VI) of thr periodic table. It is a typical non-metal.


Sources of Sulphur:
1)Underground sulphur deposits (yellow solid)
2)In compounds such as: galena, pyrite and zinc blend


Uses of Sulphur:
1)Production of vulcanise rubber chord and elastic rubber.
2)Production of sulphuric acid
3)Production of pharmaceuticals


umm and do u also want the sulphur dioxide, sulphur trioxide and sulphuric acid??? I can help u its ok...

Uses of sulphur dioxide:
1)Sulphur dioxide gas is used as a bleach in the manufacture of wood pulp for paper
2)It is used as a food preservative because it kills bacteria.

Uses of Sulphuric acid:
1) It is used mainly as the raw material for the production of many substances such as: fertilizers, dyes and paints.
2)Artificial fibres, detergents, car batteries and production of many chemicals.

Guys, this forum is for naming ur best friends!! It's NOT a chemistry help forum!! So there!  ;D
lol my best (which is the same as only) friends are woteverr (duh), abdulrahman101, shogun, The Esteemed Founder Of This Forum, angel, astar, and so on and so forth. if i've forgotten any names, just jot em down and post em sum1.
